Zeal to close down

Thank you for being a part of the Zeal community and contributing your time and knowledge to the Directory. After trying to put the deserved resources behind Zeal, we have made the conscious decision to shut down Zeal.com. On March 28, 2006 Zeal will no longer be available. We are not selling Zeal.com and have no future plans for it at this time.

Wow.... I have to say I'm shocked and disappointed. Are you sure it's a real message - it could be fake couldn't it?

Read the message there are lot of replies. I think it is not fake

They go on to promote Furl and other Looksmart products. I think they are not selling it. There are rumor that BOTW and Site-Sift are going to bid for it

Its really unusual to just shut it down instead of selling or even giving it to another company

I passed the Zeal test 5-6 months ago. I had my two website listed over there. :(
