I've found that Wiki pages have an average PR of 5, I clicked edit and added my site as an external link. It showed up on the page.

As i think, If you add a quality website to en.wikipedia, you might have a great backlink. But as Wikipedia monitors every link that is added to their site and removes which are non-relevant and added to gain seo benefit.

yes if you can write a good enough article and make your link stick then it's probably one of the best links you can get in terms of trustrank!

Article creates duplicate contents We are trying this method but not of much success. We wrote our article and submitted it to more than 300 articles directories got around more than 200 approved. We are launching a article submission services (http://www.submitshop.com/services/article-submission-services.html) so our submission department tested few our own articles

Yes Wikipedia link is great to have. :D Only qulaity links remains in Wikipedia for long period.
