I have always been a little frustrated by the fact that good serach engine rankings relied on "static web pages" versus the normal database-driven dynamic content. It seems to be a popular and (truthful??) belief that Google a few others don't take well to a query string. Which is a real pain in ass for people like me.
Is this really true? Does it really make that much of a difference?
Looking for feedback on this...

Its true that static page are good for optimization but dynamic page can also be optimized there are some techniques that is used to optimize a dynamic page one of them is rewriting of dynamic page so that search engine can treate as a static page.

if your url has session ids like &id=0003443434 then probably it will not be crawled by search engines.
